Abstract

Abstract: This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. In qualitative research researchers work as human instruments that examine events directly in the field or online. Data sources or informants in this study were one teacher of PPKn SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro, and representatives of class X students, amounting to 5 people. In this case study qualitative research researchers used 2 data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. Based on this the researcher uses 3 ways to analyze the data that researchers have received. Based on this the researcher checks the validity of the findings in several ways so that the data the researcher collects is valid and can be tested for validity. The results of this study indicate that there are several learning roles based on group discussion PPKn on active participation of students, namely the role of learning based on group discussion PPKn in building active participation of students through the interactive attitude of subject teachers in the classroom, the role of PPKn learning in building active student participation through learning in the classroom , the role of PPKn learning towards the active participation of students in terms of available learning material, the role of PPKn subjects and the synergy of subject teachers to optimize time effectively and efficiently, the role of PPKn learning in developing state of mind, and PPKn role as a democratic laboratory during the group discussion process for students Keyword : PPKn Learning, Group Discussion, Active Studens Participation
