Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the language style and meaning contained in the lyrics of the song in Andmesh Kamaleng's Extraordinary Love album and its relationship with high school Indonesian language learning. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique of this research is data analysis, namely data identification, data classification, data analysis, data description and data interpretation. The results of this study indicate that the style of language or figure of speech in the lyrics of the song in Andmesh Kamaleng's Extraordinary Love album contains 19 data. Meanwhile, (1) comparative language style consists of 4 data, including (a) hyperbole 3 data, (b) Litotes 1 data. (2) affirmation language style consists of 13 data, including (a) repetition 12 data, (b) climax 1 data, (3) contradictory language style consists of 2 data, including (a) antithesis 2 data. The relationship between this research and learning Indonesian is that there is a SK (Standard Competence) in class X semester II about students' creativity in studying language styles.
