Abstract

Linawati. 2021 Analysis of folklore character education values "The legend of the occurrence of Bledug Kuwu" in Grobogan Purwodadi Regency and its relationship with Indonesian language learning in junior high schools. Keywords: Folklore, character education values, relationships, Indonesian language learning This study aims to describe the character education values contained in the folklore of the legend of Bledug Kuwu and to determine the relationship as Indonesian language learning material in junior high school. Can the folklore of the legend of the occurrence of bledug kuwu be used as teaching material or Indonesian language learning material in junior high school? The type of research used in this study is a type of library research, using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used are secondary data and primary data, namely the folklore book “The Legend of Bledug Kuwu. The data collection used was the study and read-note method, while the data analysis technique used content analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the folklore of the legend of the occurrence of bledug kuwu has character education values, namely religious values as much as 11, nationalist values as much as 3, independent values as many as 2, mutual cooperation values as much as 2. that the value of character education has a very close relationship with learning Indonesian in junior high school because in the 2013 Curriculum Indonesian language learning has the aim of making students have Religious, Social and Skills Attitude Competencies. Religious attitude competence relates to individuals, others and nature or the environment, social competence relates to responsibility, honesty, self-confidence, independence and mutual cooperation, skills competence relates to mastery of writing, listening, and reading. In conclusion, from the folklore of the legend of the occurrence of Bledug Kuwu, there are character education values, religious values, nationalist values, independent values, mutual cooperation values, and integrity values, and these values can be used as Indonesian language learning in junior high schools in accordance with KI and KD that have been established. there is.
