Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the form and factors that cause code transfer and code mix contained in the dialogue between the characters of yowis Ben The Series. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research method. The source of this research data is a piece of conversation speech from the dialogue between the characters of the film Yowis Ben The Series. The results of this study showed that the form of code transfer in the dialogue between the characters of yowis Ben The Series includes two types, namely, (1) internal code transfer, (2) external code transfer. The mixed forms of code in the dialogue between yowis ben the series characters include, (1) words, (2) phrases, (3) clauses, (4) basters, (5) idioms, (6) repetitions of words. Factors for code transfer and code mix include: (a) speakers, (b) speech opponents, (c) the presence of third speakers, (d) changes in the topic of conversation, (c) the generation of humor, (d) the background of the speaker, (e) the language factor, (f) the sense of wanting to interpret.
