Abstract

This research is motivated by Education is a forum to shape the personality and morals of a nation and state. Every citizen has the same right to get an education, but there is a low view of children with special needs that often experience discrimination. Based on this, the teacher has a major role in shaping the personality of students by instilling Pancasila values through real activities with the aim of inclusive education. The purpose of inclusive education is to provide opportunities for all students with physical, emotional, mental and social disabilities. This study aims to determine how the role of teachers in instilling Pancasila values in students with special needs at the Gunungsari State Special School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The informants in this study were the instructors of class teachers and representatives of SLB students, totaling 3 people. The data collection used in this study were interviews, documentation, and Angket. To maintain the validity of the data, data triangulation activities were carried out. Data analysis activities start from the data reduction stage, display data, and draw conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis with these data, the following conclusions are obtained. In learning, the teacher provides examples that are often encountered in everyday life so that students can understand the values of Pancasila and be able to apply them in everyday life in dealing with problems that arise both at school, in the family or in the community.
