Abstract

Implementation of the practice of Pancasila values in the life of the nation and state requires mediation in the form of socialization, internalization, and institutionalization so that the values are permanently institutionalized for both individual citizens and community groups. One of the mediation is through education. In general, Citizenship Education teachers have difficulty teaching Pancasila values in Citizenship Education subjects. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing several things about the implementation of the practice of Pancasila values on character building in junior high school students. This type of research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Collecting data using interview and observation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the practice of Pancasila values in chaacter building can run well and well, although not all values can be implemented properly in everyday life at school and in the family.
