Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of learning videos on student learning outcomes, (2) the influence of independent learning on learning outcomes, and (3) learning videos and independence together have an effect on learning outcomes. The type of research used is non-experimental quantitative research. The research design used is correlational research. The population in this study were high school students of class XI with a total of 200 students, while the sample was 25 students of class XI MIPA using cluster random sampling method. The data collection method used in this study is a non-test method (questionnaire) and documentation. The instrument used for data collection of learning videos and learning independence is a question statement in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions. Data retrieval documentation of learning outcomes is taken on the value of UH (daily test). The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing prerequisite tests including the normality test with the Liliefors method, and the linearity test with the F test method. Furthermore, several multiple linear regression tests were carried out to prove the hypothesis. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, the results of the calculation of the hypothesis show that: (1) learning videos have an effect on learning outcomes, with a contribution of 25%, (2) learning independence has an effect on learning outcomes, with a contribution of 52%, (3) learning videos and independent learning together have an effect on learning outcomes with the coefficient of determination (R2) showing the number 0.91 or 91%.
