Advisor I: Chyntia Heru Woro P., M.Pd. Advisor II: Fitri Nudianingsih, M.Pd. Keywords: Speaking, presentation, anxiety, strategy The purpose in doing this research to identify and find the factors causing anxiety and the effective strategies to overcome the anxiety in doing English presentation. This research uses qualitative case study method. The research was conducted in the first grade students of English department IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro from 25 april to 25 may, 2019. The sources of data were events, documents and informans. The data were collected through questionnaires and interview. The good achievers learning activities were observed and noted. The data were analyzed using interactive model of qualitative data analysis technique, which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. Based on the questionnaires, interview and documents analysis, It can be concluded that: (1) The anxiety factors faced by students in presentation come from the cognitive factor, affective factor, performance factor, and physical factor. (2) The strategies were all different. Even some of them are similar, as like preparing carefully the material, trying to be confident with their own abilities, and maintaining eye contact during the presentation. They keep to improve the strategy used. The strategies help them to get success in their presentation and develop their speaking competence. The anxiety factor can be obtained by each student in their presentation. Moreover as the EFL students. Each student has different factor that can cause their anxiety that come from some factors. On the other side, the students are enforced to find the strategy to overcoming it, So that it can help them to get success delivering the presentation.
