Abstract

The research "Analysis of Characterizations and Moral Values of Novel Pendakian Jalur Selatan Rinjani by Rochy Mario Djafis and Their Relationship with Learning in High School" aims to describe and explain the characterizations and moral values of novel Pendakian Jalur Selatan Rinjani by Rochy Mario Djafis and its Relationship with Indonesian Language Learning in SMA. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the data source is obtained from the novel Pendakian Jalur Selatan Rinjani by Rochy Mario Djafis. A novel printed in 2020 and published by DENTA Publisher, Persaman Barat, West Sumatra. The data collection techniques in this study were reading and note-taking techniques. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there are main characters, additional characters, protagonists, simple characters, round characters, static characters, developing characters, and neutral characters. There are four types of moral values, namely moral values contained in human relationships with themselves, moral values contained in human relationships with other humans, moral values contained in natural relationships, and moral values contained in human relationships with God. The relationship with learning in high school can be seen in K.D 3.9 which reads analyzing the content and language of the novel.
