Abstract

Abstract This study aims to re-analyze the use of the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model of mathematics learning for junior and senior high school students. This research uses meta-analysis method. Data analysis was performed by means of quantitative descriptive. Based on the analysis of the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model, the results of effect size data are obtained based on the overall category, level of education, by region and dependent variable. The following are results based on the overall category obtained by seven articles with a small category, five medium categories and three large categories by obtaining a total effect size of 0.158 (medium category). Whereas if based on the level of education obtained 8 articles of junior high school and 7 levels of senior high school with the acquisition of effect sizes respectively 0.156 and 0.161. If analyzed by region, 5 articles were obtained in Java with an effect size of 0.18, Sumatra received 7 articles with an effect size of 0.108 in Nusa Tenggara, obtained 2 articles with an effect size of 0.301, and in Sulawesi there was 1 article with an effect size of 0.113. If analyzed based on dependent variables on learning outcomes, the effect size 0.106 on mathematical communication skills obtains an effect size of 0.163 on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, obtaining an effect size of 0.141 for learning achievement, obtaining an effect size of 0.230, and to increasing the ability of mathematical reasoning, obtaining an effect size of 0.364.
