Abstract

Abstract : This objective of the research are to describe the mathematical procedural abilities in terms of the personality types of students, where the subject consists of 37 students from the Eightg grade (VII) Mts Matholi'ul Fallah Soko, this research taken 8 students with the following details: 4 students with extrovert personality types, and 4 students with type introverted personality. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The research instruments consisted of personality type questionnaires, procedural abilities tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that description of mathematical procedural abilities in terms of the personality types of students as follows: (1) extroverted students can understand the problem well, plan solutions correctly, carry out plans correctly and re-check the answers that have been done. (2) introverted students understand the problem by reading silently, not doing the re-checking stage because they prefer the answers already available.
