Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between students whose learning uses Powtoon learning media and students who do not use these media on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, the subject of human activities in meeting the needs of class VII. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The prerequisite test of the instrument carried out is a test of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, distinguishing power. While the data analysis technique used is the prerequisite analysis test with the normality test and homogeneity test, and the hypothesis test used is the t test. Data collection was carried out using 3 ways, namely, documentation, observation and tests. The documentation method is done by looking at and asking for documents from the parties concerned, while the observation method is used by researchers to see the state of the class, observing the behavior of students, the test method is used by researchers to determine the level of learning outcomes of class VII-A and class VII-B students. . The results showed that: There are differences in learning outcomes between students whose learning uses Powtoon learning media and students who do not use these media on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, the subject of human activities in meeting the needs of class VII, that the tcount value (2.557) is greater from the value of t table (2.063).
