Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out : 1) How the impact of using E-commerce on consumption behavior in students of the Department of Economic Education Faculty of Social Sciences IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data sources using purposive sampling consisting of 120 respondents and the researcher took a sample of 30 students of the Economics Education Study Program Bojonegoro who use e-commerce on consumption behavior. Data collection techniques in this study were Observation, Questionnaire, Interview, and Documentation. Electronic Commerce (E-commerce) is any form of trade transactions or trade in goods or services (trade of goods and services) using electronic media. The media used in e-commerce activities is the World Wide Web Internet. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the impact of using e-commerce on consumption behavior has a positive impact and a negative impact on students, the negative impact is to cause excessive consumerism that makes wasteful, increases the amount of consumption, cheating in fraud, the positive impact is accelerating consumption , making it easier for consumers, making it easier for consumption, and saving energy and time. So the application of technology using e-commerce is a very important factor for student consumption patterns. Keywords : E-commerce, Impact, Consumption Behavior
